What is it that makes a buggy a buggy and not just another go-kart? In essense, today's buggys are really large adult go karts but they are so much more capable then what we typically consider a true kart. A mini buggy has many of the features that today's atvs have: Large knobby tires, 2-4 wheel disc brake systems, roll/brush cage, multi point seatbelts, full 4 wheel suspension (often adjustable), they often come with reverse mechanisms, and they often feature higher performance powerplants then what we would typically consider a go-kart engine. Many asian import buggys are coming with the GY6 150cc single cylinder engine, and the CN250 250cc single cylinder engine which are high reving, good performing, scooter cycle engines from yesteryear.
